Take a 25-minute guided tour and discover how an Icelandic family lived in the Caves of Laugarvatn just 100 years ago. The cave is located in beautiful nature, only 15 minutes from Þingvellir National Park. Our expert guides are eager to share their deep local knowledge. Also we offer special private tours with traditional food tasting.

Private tour with Icelandic food taste
This private 30-minute tour begins with a taste of Icelandic tradition. While you enjoy flatbread with smoked lamb, dried fish with butter, fermented shark, coffee, and a shot of Brennivín (Icelandic schnapps), your guide will share stories, show old photos, and tell you how Icelandic families once lived in the caves. After the tasting, you’ll explore the cave and its surroundings at your own pace.
